Even Albert Einstein once visited the "Internationale Funkausstellung " - which translates to "International radio exhibition" but has not really much to do with radio but with all consumer and entertainment electronics. Every year more than 2.000 visitors are looking for the latest trends from the entertainment industry and hundreds of exhibitors present innovative devices and new ideas.
Famous for showing not only being about Zeitgeist, but also giving a glimpse into the future. The IFA is the place where Sony presented the blu ray disc in 2007 and 3D-TVs for your home cinema in 2010. You can expect a lot of clever concepts, improvements and enhancements when you walk around the exhibition.
The IFA is not only a technical fair but also for your entertainment. Aside from all the innovative devices there will be a big musical event. It started yesterday with the opening concert by the german rap group Die Fantastischen Vier and continues with a two-day festival of national artists like Fettes Brot, Bosse, Namika and Sido.
Another big part of the IFA is YouTube. There is a huge amount of video producers from Germany who made themselves a name on the video-sharing website. Some of them will be at IFA and they'll present styling tips, live gaming, music and several YouTube challenges to the audience. There will also be an Oktoberfest with several specialities from Bavaria like Leberkäse, pork hocks and original Hofbräu beer right out of the beer mug.
IFA is not only for vistors who are into entertainment electronics but also for people from every age. And if you are at Zoologischer Garten you can to to Breitscheitplatz to participate too, since there will be a stage and another exhibition named "Berlin celebrates IFA". Free entry for everyone!
You can visit the events from 02. to 07. September 2017. For additional information and tu purchase your ticket please go to: http://b2c.ifa-berlin.de/
