The Gelato Festival heads to Berlin!
Good news for ice cream lovers. After stops in Florence, Parma, Naples, Turin, Milan and London the Gelato Festival comes to Germanys capital city for the first time ever. Eleven producers of fine italian gelato will compete against each other to find out who is the best in Germany.
From July 07th to July 10th Berlins inhabitants and visitors can not only enjoy the weekend at Treptower Park or the beloved Badeschiff (which is basically a swimming pool in the Spree), but also at ARENA BERLIN. The ARENA will host a stop of the Gelato Festival 2016 where eleven gelato producers from Germany will compete against each other. They have created a special flavour just for the Gelato Festival and a competent jury as well as the vistors will decide which producer wins and heads to the finals in Florence in September.
Of course you can not only taste the competitors but also all the regular gelato flavours. There are also several other activities planned, celebrity chefs and companies will talk about italian traditions and tell a few of the tasty secrets.
If you ever wanted to taste special flavours like ice tream with truffels from the Tuscany, original Nutella or the Buontalenti, the winner of the 2015 Gelato Festival, come to ARENA BERLIN and give it a try.
